this place I’m in.
With one word
I’m in the spin.
With everyone, upside-down
and outside-in,
Cross eyed, split-tongued
and peering in.

It cuts my door,
My thick and thin.
It ignores my sign,
‘No tresspassing!’
So I fake my calm,
I smile, I let it in.
Entertain the foe,
The friend, the kin.
